Biotec Distribution Wales Limited (‘Biotec’) was established in the UK in 1997 by Marc Weinzweig in response to the growing requirement for a clinical trials supply management service for the biopharmaceutical industry. We specialise in the import, Qualified Person certification, labelling, assembly, storage and world-wide distribution of clinical trial supplies for Phase I to IV trials, including temperature sensitive biopharmaceuticals.

Working to both US and European Quality standards and with regular discussions with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), all of our procedures are managed to the highest possible standards, conforming to cGMP and other relevant regulatory standards.

The Biotec team has grown significantly since inception and have assisted and built strong partnerships with clients all over the world in particular from the USA, Canada, Japan, Israel and Europe. We have been audited by and are an approved supplier to a wide range of companies from virtuals through to many of the world’s blue chip pharmaceutical companies.

We are frequently commended on our high standards which are achieved through our continual programme of investment in people, processes, equipment and facilities. This culminated in the moving to a brand new purpose built facility in May 2008.
