Biotec lead the way for Cold Chain Clinical Trials

Biotec Services International will be presenting on the future of the management of cold chain clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry at the Cold Chain Storage & Distribution conferences in Philadelphia in October and Vienna in February 2009.
Managing director, Marc Weinzweig, will lead the presentation and will focus specifically on the roles and responsibilities of the QP (Qualified Person) when handling cold chain products in particular.
His talk will look at how organisations rely on the QP to ensure that products have been handled according to the required product information up to the point of delivery at clinical trial sites. In the case of cold chain products, this includes maintaining the specified temperature during storage, transit throughout the whole supply chain and ensuring that validation is completed.
Biotec employs a team of five experienced qualified QPs to ensure that all the products handled are verified, checked and validated before distribution.
